Making the Best of UChicago Economics Available to Everyone

An Economics Syllabus, Without the Math!

The field of economics has generated powerful insights which have fundamentally shaped the our world, but its emphasis on mathematics can cloud key concepts in complexity. Economics for Everyone (E4E) sets aside the math to help students everywhere think like economists and understand how economic thinking can make the world a better place.

Based on the Breakthrough Course by List & Levitt

Professors John List & Steve Levitt set out to design an accessible, engaging curriculum to introduce the principles of economics to students at The University of Chicago. The response was overwhelming, and Economics for Everyone was launched with a mission to make economics available to everyone, everywhere—with immersive online videos, explainers, resources, and more.

Presented by Leading UChicago Economists

The University of Chicago is widely regarded as a leader in the field of economics, with an unparalleled 35 University affiliated Nobel laureates across a range of world-changing insights and ideas. E4E has engaged UChicago professors and researchers in a variety of fields to share their passion for economics and make the material informative and approachable for everyone.
